During this course you will be provided with an opportunity to learn up to date clinical guidance on everything wound care related as well as infection control principles required for the delivery of safe and effective wound management.  This will include aseptic non-touch technique, equipment required for wound care, including the procedures to ensure safe infection control strategies.

We will also provide you with knowledge of the procedure for removal of sutures or staples with a good opportunity to take part in a practical session to gain hands on experience of removing sutures and staples from minor and surgical wounds.
